To Whom It May Concern:
Everyday that passes is that much more damaging. Please Help! I have continuously been & am being poisoned, day by day. As well as malnourished and put in hazardous/harmful living conditions & situations. I live an Organic and All Natural lifestyle. I do not eat GMO foods, but am being forced to, or Not eat at all. It has been almost five months since I have not only been taken away from my family & two children, but have been taken out of the Organic and All Natural lifestyle I live as well. Not only has that time taken a toll on my body, but has affected me emotionally and mentally as well. I may be rich in soul, but without being wealthy with money, this battle has proven hard to fight, even win. I know there are people in this world who are wealthy with money and I ask, Please Help! There is a complete injustice going on here. Please stand with me, help me fight this battle, and help put an end to what is happening. I have not harmed anyone, I have not injured anyone, I was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time with my medicine and Holy Sacrament, and yet my family and I are being harmed. These people here, Sheriff Bobby Grubbs, District Attorney’s Michael Murray and Sam Moss, and others have taken a personal interest in me, and seeing that they do as much harm and damage to myself and my family. Chris was arrested for having a total of 22 grams of his "Medical Marijuana"/Cannabis on June 27th 2010 while traveling thru small town Texas, late at night. He had his doctors recommendation to use the Cannabis concentrate (Hashish) as medicine with him. The record states he was stopped and detained for suspicious registration. Traveling at two a.m. with California plates in Bangs, Texas was the only problem. At a pretrial hearing, Senior Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Martin Molotsky openly admitted to profiling Chris.
The penal code in Texas describes concentrated Marijuana to be a "Controlled Substance" mandating a sentence range in a penal group higher than that of methamphetine, cocaine and heroin. All three of which Texas considers to have some medical value (ed.note: idiots). The law in Texas states Marijuana/Cannabis/Hashish is a Schedule 1 Controlled Substance and has no medical value what-so-ever. For this, Texas law threatened Chris with, as the news papers stated, "life in prison" (5-99 years) with VIOLENT OFFENDERS, for under one ounce of Medical Marijuana...
A plant, used as medicine, that is: recognized in seventeen (17) States and the District of Columbia, in a State poll, 75% of Texans, and on a national poll more than 50% of Americans approve of, the Federal Investigational New Drug program (IND) supplies the two surviving Federal patients with Medical Marijuana, The American Medical Association, American Nursing Association, and many religious organizations including televangelist Pat Robertson can be added to the list of those that approve of decriminalization and/or medical use of Cannabis. I find it odd that Texans are so big and proud yet asleep at the wheel on this issue. Pun-intended.
After one-hundred-thirty (130) days in solitary confinement, and tales of parole in absensia (immediate release to California), no explanation of appeal waiver, his Attorney Donald "Rudy" Taylor coerced him into agreeing to two felonies, each mandating three years in a Texas State Prison . His Attorney Rudy Taylor, confessed to the coersion and collusion with the District Attorney in text messages to Chris' family. The hyped media attention "backed the DA into the corner and threatened his reputation" stated Taylor. In another incident, Taylor was jailed for contempt of court, again at the expense of Chris. Taylor subjected Chris' drug-free family to his irrational behavior of mixing of prescription pills, illegal substances and alcohol all while bullying and terrifying family members and friends into remaining silent in the media, while promising "a trial Texas will never forget". Chris' California recommending physician, and Cannabis expert, William Courtney, waited anxiously to fly to Texas for his trial appearance that Rudy Taylor never planned to have, but lured the family from California, believing so. When a NORML attorney told the family he could get probation for Chris, and the family asked Taylor if he could do the same, Taylor talked Chris in to a plea "deal" of two - three year felonies with no appeal, the very next day. Rudy had not come to visit Chris in solitary confinement for over 30 days nor had Chris had any outside contact. It almost looks pre-meditiated. To deprive someone of their health, sunlight and human contact for 130 days is torture. Welcome to Brown County Texas.

The District Attorney of Brown County Texas Micheal B Murray, would like Brown County and State of Texas citizens to believe Chris is a drug dealer, not a Medical Marijuana patient from California, and used torture to get a plea just days before a scheduled trial. The DA knew he could not handle a legitimate medical marijuana patient case and went so far as to trump up trafficking and "Republic of Texas" membership stories to escape his "loss factor." In my opinion after seeing the video, a young kid in a slick car from California asked a big dumb cop a smart question on the side of the road, at 2am, so "get out of the car" was the cops "educated" response. R.O.T. accusations is all he and the DA could collude to against a Real Live Medical Marijuana Patient. Imagine, a documented mermaid in the heart of Texas... all juries want to believe in mermaids. (note: Chris' former attorney, now deceased, had caught the DA and Trooper in the act of colluding before a hearing and questioned the Trooper about it. Judge Ellis refused to allow the trumped-up imaginary ROT testimony and star witness.) The question? "Do you want my legal name or my given name." Is that really so hard to answer? When your brain is clogged with steroids, bovine growth hormones, chemical additives, preservitives and pesticides on a seseme seed bun, then yes.
The truth is, Chris has a long documented history of chronic lung disease and multiple chemical sensitivities, lived in North Texas and Austin before moving to California, as a minor child. After years of watching her sons condition continue to worsen daily, Chris' mother "Nona" began looking into alternative treatments for his Asthma. A Texas physician and naturopath had an explanation of why Chris' lungs were deteriorating instead of healing and recommended multiple environmental changes, the use of many natural remedies, offered an explanation of the nutritional value of hemp oil, and making note of specific dietary allergens.
Only a year later there was noticible improvement, just in the diet and environmental changes. The "panhandle" of North Texas wasn't the ideal location considering the amount of dust blowing in the perpetual winds and Austin was too humid and over pollinated, so another change was needed, a move. The California coast was the family's second option, only because the "Big island" of Hawaii was the first. A baby on the way and job transfer brought the family to the clean air and readily available 'organic' lifestyle of the Mendocino Coast. A true Native Texan, FarmAid pioneer and Medical Marijuana proponent Willie Nelson gets it, he too has had a lung collapse.
It wasn't for the pot, at least not until his lungs collapsed in 2007. He was just 17, almost died, and had a newborn baby girl; the drugs lived up their FDA package warnings and he decided things had to change, forever. Chris was intubated when his lungs collapsed, this is Willie Nelsons explanation of intubation"They stick something through your back and pump the lung up, and whatever decibel your scream is, that's how they know they've penetrated the lung. "I peaked that sucker." Willie Nelson in 2008 recalling his experience in 1981 (and thousands of joints later).
Chris' organic lifestyle is complete to his bedding and his childrens bedding. Organic (grown pesticide/herbicide free) ensures he has no allergic reactions from the food he eats or the clothes he wears and sleeps in. Edible and inhaled Cannabis is a proven, safe, effective treatment for Asthma, with none of the side effects of steroidal and chemical medicines, such as bad taste, in Chris' case collapsed lungs, or death as the drug facts sheet to Advair warns. When Chris was released from ICU he, his family and his doctor sat down on a Sunday afternoon, on a house call, and discussed the therapeutic value of Medicinal Marijuana. Chris used only Marijuana as his asthma medication from his release in 2007 until he was arrested while driving thru Bangs Texas in June of 2010. He was healing, absolutely.
Just this year in 2012, the Washington Post, NYTimes, LATimes, and multiple other media outlets released a 20 year study from the University of Alabama regarding the subject. Before this new study, there had been other numerous positive studies on Asthma and Cannabis. Texas in-line with the U.S. Government refuses to recognize the facts, for obvious (FDA) reasons (Sativex/Marinol). The State of Texas refuses to acknowledge the medical truth of Cannabis as medicine, for political and monetary reasons as well.
Texas' privatized prisons are NOT non-profit.
Note: Texas Highway Patrol does not have to read your "Miranda Rights" in Brown County, in fact it is called a "Magistrates Warning" and you get this piece of paper "you're not admitting anything, these are the charges against you sign here" at the jail booking. Do not sign ANYTHING without a lawyer present, ever. Texas Highway Patrol will search with verbal non-consent and will call it "search incident to arrest." All Texas DPS now have "digital" in-car video that runs perpetually and "audio begins when the lights come on", stated Trooper Molotsky. In Brown County Highway Patrol will be in your pockets within 3 minutes of lights on especially if you're from California, and its past dark. Lock your doors and swallow the keys. ;) According to Judge Stephen Ellis, all of this is OK in Brown County Texas. When John Harper's tow company also has a vested interest, it's called racketeerring (the tow company adjacent to the Sheriff Dept) and should seriously be looked in to. The family spent three months attempting to obtain a court order stating the car was not being held as evidence, as Harpers Automotive stated day one refusing to release the car. Texas DPS stated it was never being held for evidence, yet even after being told by the judge in person, and by court order, "Grumpy" John Harper still would not release the car, instead he called the police to issue a trespass warning against Chris and his mother. John Harper sold the family's car. The "Brownwood Mafia" prevails, for now...
